About Chavura B'nai Torah

Chavura B'nai Torah is a pragmatic Jewish society and the home of the Jewish Interpretist Movement.

About Jewish Interpretism:

Judaism is not static. It has always been a dynamic and evolving culture and religion. Jewish Interpretism encourages reinterpretation and adaptation of Jewish expression in the light of modern science, culture and history.

Interpretism appreciates the historical reality of Judaism as an emergent culture and religion which shares roots and influences with other cultures and religions; both ancient and modern.

Conversion

Jewish identity is a choice regardless of ethnicity.

Judaism should openly welcome converts.

The Jewish Interpretist Movement seeks to make conversion available and accessible to all sincere candidates.

The Lost Tribes

Open Israel is the official movement of the return of the Lost Tribes. Much research has been conducted by qualified experts to identify the descendant races of the lost tribes. Open Israel recognizes that it is time for the Tribes to return home to Israel and reclaim their Jewish identity.
